Venue

The department of mathematics of Besançon (LMB) is on the campus ’la Bouloie’, at the third and fourth floors of the building B part of the ’Métrologie’ building :

Laboratoire de Mathématiques
UFR Sciences et Techniques
16 route de Gray
25030 Besançon CEDEX
FRANCE

From the train station Viotte, join the bus stop ’Gare Viotte’ .

Take bus, line L3, from the station (’gare Viotte’) to the campus (direction to ’TEMIS’), and stop at ’Crous Université’. The trip takes about 15 minutes. Time table of this bus line is here.

From the bus stop, take the street at your right and walk ahead along the library and the canteen where we have lunch. When the street turns left and goes down, you should keep walking ahead in the alley (to the right you have a cycle park) then go downstairs. Walk along a two levels building (building DF) then take the long stairs down leading to the entrance (building B on the map), In the building you can take the stairs or the elevator to the third floor.

A map can be found here

Check your arrival train station. if it is Bessançon Franche-Comté TGV, you should take the ’navette’ a small train to the station ’Besançon Viotte’. These ’navettes’ are in general coordinate with the TGV trains. It is better to book them ahead to avoinding missing one and to minimize travel time.
